Air Status Codes

Air segments within a Passenger Name Record (PNR) are assigned a specific status code. This code indicates the status of the segment and determines the actions that can be taken on it. For example, a segment with a confirmed status can be ticketed, while a segment with a waitlisted status cannot.

WEB Status Codes

The WEB status codes are used to indicate the status of e-ticketing transactions. The following table lists the WEB status codes and their meanings:

WEB Status Code Meaning
NO Not open for ticketing
UN Unable to ticket
HX Hold
UC Unconfirmed

Segments with a WEB status code of NO, UN, HX, or UC cannot be ticketed. These segments must be manually confirmed before they can be ticketed.

HK Status Code

The HK status code indicates that the segment is confirmed and has three confirmed seats. This code is typically used for group bookings.

AN Status Code

The AN status code indicates the status of an air segment. The following table lists the AN status codes and their meanings:

AN Status Code Meaning
OK Confirmed
WL Waitlisted
HX Hold
UC Unconfirmed

Segments with an AN status code of OK are confirmed and can be ticketed. Segments with an AN status code of WL, HX, or UC cannot be ticketed. These segments must be manually confirmed before they can be ticketed.
